Travel Information
Chez Lingarole is centrally located in the French Pyrenees and is easily accessible, whether flying, driving or travelling by train.
Toulouse-Blagnac airport is just over an hour's drive from us and is serviced by British Airways, Air France, EasyJet, FlyBe and Jet2 from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and other UK regional airports. Pau airport is under an hour's drive from us and is serviced by Ryan Air from London Stansted and Bristol or Air France (via Paris) from other UK regional airports. Ryan Air also fly to Carcassonne (100 miles from us) and Biarritz Airport (125 miles from us).
Car hire is available at all airports with a number of rental companies and can be booked in advance on the internet or on your arrival. Alternatively, guests can travel from Toulouse-Blagnac, Pau, Carcassonne and Biarritz airports by train to our nearby train station at Montrejeau where we can arrange to meet you. Driving can be a cost effective way of travelling for 2 or more people and offers you a greater chance to explore the Pyrénées. Average driving time from Bilbao is 3.5 hours; St Malo 8.5 hours and Euro Tunnel 11 hours.
